ST ESTEVE Catalans Dragons’ chances of winning the 2016 Lord Derby Cup final have received a massive boost with three Catalans Dragons players expected to turn out in the decider.
Fullback Morgan Escare, prop Antoni Maria and playmaker Stan Robin will line up for St Esteve in Saturday afternoon’s Lord Derby Cup final against Limoux Grizzlies at Stade Domec, Carcassonne.
The trio have all been left out of Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous’ squad for the club’s Round 11 Super League clash against St Helens on Thursday.
Escare, Maria and Robin make way for Todd Carney, Remi Casty and Justin Horo, who return to the Dragons team after being sidelined with injuries.
Maria will add some muscle to St Esteve’s engine room and will help lay the platform for halfback Robin, Escare and the club’s outside backs.
